About the event
Work on the Eklutna Lakeside Trail will include brushing of alders and other growth along the trail (non-motorized trail). Volunteers will bike in approximately 5 miles before beginning work and will need to have a bike helmet, bike lock, and a pack to carry all their gear for the day in addition to a set of loppers and a folding hand saw - both of which Alaska Trails will provide. A BBQ will follow the event for all volunteers, provided by at Eklutna Lake. Volunteers who attend will also receive a coupon for $5 off any food or drink at The Loft at Midnight Sun Brewing Co!Lifetime Adventures
HIKING / BIKING INFO :
Volunteers will bike in approximately 5 miles (each way) on the Eklutna Lakeside Trail (and possibly more) to begin brushing. Easy difficulty for hiking. Work will end in time to get back to trailhead at 4pm.
